Digital Marketing - Video Editor

About the Role

We are looking for a Digital Marketing - Video Editor to join a remote creative pod supporting a Melbourne-based agency. You will transform scripts, concepts, and raw footage into polished short to mid-form video content for clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Ideal Candidate (Must-Have Requirements)

  • Proven experience as a video editor in a professional or agency setting
  • Strong portfolio of short to mid-form video content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
  • After Effects experience strongly preferred
  • Strong instinct for pacing, storytelling, and platform native content
  • High attention to detail and consistency
  • Strong communication during revision cycles
  • Strong file management and organisation skills
  • Comfortable working from home, cross-timezone teams

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Edit short to mid-form video content from briefs and raw footage
  • Turn scripts and concepts into final video outputs
  • Apply brand and campaign guidelines in all edits
  • Execute revision rounds based on feedback
  • Organise and maintain project files in shared systems
  • Collaborate with the creative pod and Melbourne team
  • Stay updated on AU and NZ content trends and formats
