AU Paraplanner

About the Role

As an Australian Paraplanner, you will focus on comprehensive research, report preparation, and collaboration directly with financial advisors. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for financial analysis, and the desire to contribute to our clients’ financial well-being, this is the role for you.

Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)

  • At least 2 years experience as a Paraplanner supporting an Australian Financial Planning Firm
  • Proficiency with Xplan and/or Adviser Logic (Financial Planning Tools)
  • Experienced in Financial Planning Modeling creation
  • Handled preparation and implementation of Statements of Advice (SoA)
  • Experience in Investment and/or Insurance Implementation
  • Prior experience with Records of Advice (RoA)
  • Able to liaise between advisors, insurance companies, clients, and other parties involved.
  • Employee work set-up will be dependent on the client’s discretion

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Providing quotes for either Risk and/or Financial Planning SoA alongside conducting product cost comparisons for Superannuation, Pension, and Investments, ensuring comprehensive financial analysis.
  • Ensuring the advice provided aligns with ASFL compliance parameters while preparing meticulously for Records of Advice (ROA) to meet regulatory standards.
  • Generating new business income from risk insurance and superannuation advice this financial year, coupled with implementing advice for clients' financial plans.
  • Completing fact-finding documents while managing all necessary client work papers and information, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Updating client paper and electronic files to maintain compliance, concurrently managing and reviewing client data in the CRM for accuracy.
  • Liaising effectively with fund managers, administrators, and life companies to oversee client affairs, coordinating diverse research efforts to support financial planning recommendations.
