Risk and Compliance Officer

About the Role

The Risk and Compliance Officer supports the organisation in maintaining compliance with internal policies, operational risk management procedures, and information security standards within a BPO environment. The position works closely with internal teams and clients to monitor processes, assist with audits, maintain compliance documentation, and support incident reporting. Training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate develops strong capability in the company’s risk and compliance framework.

Ideal Candidate (Must-Have Requirements)

  • At least 1 year of experience in Compliance or Information Security within a BPO environment
  • Familiarity with compliance monitoring, audits, or incident reporting processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and communicate with clients professionally
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a structured environment

Highly Regarded

  • Experience using monitoring tools such as Time Doctor or similar productivity monitoring platforms
  • Exposure to compliance documentation, policy management, or operational risk tracking

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring compliance with company policies, procedures, and information security standards
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering documentation and preparing reports
  • Maintain compliance records, documentation, and monitoring logs
  • Assist with incident reporting and support investigations related to compliance issues
  • Help ensure operational processes align with company risk management and security requirements
  • Work with internal teams and clients to respond to compliance related enquiries
  • Identify potential operational or compliance risks and escalate when necessary
  • Prepare reports and perform administrative support tasks using Microsoft Office tools
