Full Stack Developer
On-site (either IT Park Cebu / Robinsons Cybergate Delta Davao)
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and TypeScript to design, build, and maintain production-ready software. You’ll collaborate with the product team, mentor junior developers, and help shape our system architecture while ensuring high-quality code and reliable delivery.
Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a team with product ownership responsibilities.
- Proven ability to deliver production-ready applications across the full stack.
- Expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and full-stack integration.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows (GitHub).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Amenable to work on-site in our Cebu office (IT Park, Cebu City)
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Amazon SES, TinyMCE 7, Heroku, or Python.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with RML/XML or other markup languages.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Build responsive, interactive user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Develop and manage PostgreSQL databases to ensure performance and scalability.
- Implement cloud services and storage solutions using AWS (including S3).
- Conduct code reviews, enforce GitHub workflows, and maintain coding standards.
- Write automated tests and ensure code reliability and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues with minimal downtime.
- Contribute to system architecture planning, technical documentation, and process improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and collaborate with the product team on feature delivery.
