Construction Project Scheduler

About the Role

We are looking for a Construction Project Scheduler to manage project timelines, track progress, and support coordination across trades and stakeholders. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate construction programs, identifying risks early, and ensuring projects stay aligned with planned milestones.

Ideal Candidate (Must-Have Requirements)

  • Experience in construction scheduling or project coordination
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows and sequencing
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, Asta, or similar tools
  • Ability to track progress and update schedules based on site activity
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills
  • Preferably with experience in contract administration or cost tracking
  • Preferably with exposure to Australian construction projects or standards
  • Preferably able to work onsite, but the role is open for a WFH setup

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules
  • Update programs based on actual site progress
  • Identify delays, risks, and critical path impacts
  • Prepare lookahead schedules (2-week / 4-week)
  • Track progress against planned timelines
  • Provide clear reports on milestones, risks, and slippage
  • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and trades
  • Support procurement planning aligned with project timelines
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
  • Assist with project reporting and coordination tasks
