AU Financial Planning Admin (SMSF - WFH)

About the Role

We are looking for an Australian Financial Planning Administrator with strong SMSF and paraplanning support experience. You will support advisers across pre and post meeting admin, SMSF workflows, insurance processing, and CRM management to ensure smooth and compliant advice delivery.

Ideal Candidate (Must-Have Requirements)

  • Experience in Australian financial planning administration
  • Strong exposure to SMSF processes and workflows
  • Experience supporting paraplanners or financial advisers
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ideally Pluto Soft
  • Preferably with exposure to paraplanning or SOA support work
  • Preferably with experience in insurance or product provider coordination
  • Strong attention to detail and document accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills for providers and internal coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills in fast-paced environments

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage pre and post-client meeting administration tasks
  • Prepare and update client files, fact finds, and documentation
  • Support paraplanning tasks, including SOA preparation and research
  • Assist with SMSF administration and ongoing maintenance support
  • Manage insurance application processes and underwriting follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate client records in Pluto Soft CRM
  • Liaise with product providers for policy updates and application follow-ups
  • Support retirement planning documentation and client data gathering
  • Ensure all client records are accurate, complete, and compliant
  • Assist advisers and paraplanners with day-to-day administrative needs
