About the Role
The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing key HR functions, including Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits administration, Payroll processing, and Onboarding. This role ensures compliance with labour laws, company policies, and supports a positive employee experience while supervising HR staff and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)
- Graduate of Psychology, BS/BA in Human Resource Management, or any equivalent degree
- With 3-5 years of progressive HR experience
- With a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- At least 2years of experience as an HR in the BPO/Call Centre/Outsourcing industry is required
- Solid background in day-to-day HR operations covering:
- Employee Relations
- Compensation and Benefits
- Employee Onboarding
- Administration
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws, government-mandated benefits, and HR best practices.
- Proficient in HRIS, MS Office, and payroll systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive information.

Task and Responsibilities
Employee Relations (ER)
- Serve as the first escalation point for employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary cases.
- Conduct investigations, hearings, and recommend appropriate actions in line with company policies and labour laws.
- Provide guidance to supervisors/managers on proper handling of employee issues.
- Foster a positive employee relations climate through communication and engagement activities.
Compensation & Benefits (CompBen)
- Administer salary structures, allowances, incentives, and benefits programs.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
Payroll Management
- Oversee accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Validate payroll entries, adjustments, overtime, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Coordinate with Finance for salary releases and compliance reporting.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data privacy requirements.
Onboarding
- Supervise pre-employment processing, contract signing, and orientation of new hires.
- Ensure smooth transition of new employees by coordinating with different departments.
- Monitor onboarding programs and track probationary evaluations.
- Recommend process improvements for better employee experience.

Most clients follow standard business days (Monday to Friday), so VAP follows a weekend rest day schedule.
You’ll follow your client’s AU public holidays. This means you’ll work on PH holidays but with PH holiday premium pay.
Holiday Break: We offer a 2-week paid holiday break from Christmas to New Year. If your client requests you to work during this time and you agree, you’ll receive Rest Day overtime pay.
Yes, we provide both vacation and sick leave. Vacation leave is not convertible to cash, as we encourage work-life balance and want our staff to enjoy their time off. Unused vacation leave carries over to the next year.
