Accounting or Finance Staff
On-site (either IT Park Cebu / Robinsons Cybergate Delta Davao)
About the Role
The Accounting or Finance Staff is responsible for providing general accounting and internal control support, including preparation and posting of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheet accounts, completion of the month-end closing transactions/procedures, and ensuring that the general ledger account balances and trial balances are appropriately reconciled.
Ideal Candidate (Must Have Requirements)
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy Graduate, CPA licensure board passer is a plus but not a requirement.
- With a minimum of 3 years of local accounting experience.
- Complete exposure to AP, AR, GL and bookkeeping
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles
- High attention to detail skills
- Amenable to working on-site (either IT Park Cebu / Robinsons Cybergate Delta Davao)
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Record journal entries in accounting software for the assigned entities.
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts and resolve the reconciling items on time.
- Perform month-end closing activities per the financial close schedules and the established guidelines.
- Prepare and Maintain monthly Fixed Assets Schedule
- Generate and prepare monthly reports for Management Reporting and Analysis purposes.
- Provide support for internal and external financial audits (e.g. Prepare reconciliations, Prepare Audit workbook, etc.)
- Prepare Quarterly Income Tax Return & Annual Tax Return
- Assist the Accounting and Compliance Officer with reportorial requirements for both internal and external audiences.
